About 'The SRG Foundation'

The SRG Foundation was created in 2022 in the memory of Smarana Ramaa Gadepally (SRG). The Foundation was created to provide loving service to all those who are going through cancer, especially those diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

We the family and friends hope to touch as many lives as possible to make it a little bit more easier for patients and their caregivers to obtain useful information in one place.  In our journey, this was a gap that we identified and we are offering this website to fill such gaps along the lines of the 4 key pillars, namely, (a) patient care, (b) physician & health care team engagement, (c) pharmacy, treatment, and (d) policy.

About Smarana

Smarana was a passionate young woman who grew up dreaming about making the world a better place. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend like no other who wanted to share her compassion and big ideas with the world. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2020 with a degree in film production and her goal was to become a film director to address major social issues and support numerous charitable causes through media.

In October 2020, Smarana was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. During her battle with the beast, she dreamed of recovering and becoming an advocate for other medical patients who face barriers to access resources and treatments.

While Smarana is  no longer with us, her passion to serve those in need lives on through her loved ones, who are committed to making her final dream a reality.

With a foundation of love at the bottom and the Roof of SRG supported by our four pillars of peace, we, the friends and family, dedicate ourselves to serving our fellow human beings. We hope you join us in serving and providing relief for those who are affected and afflicted by this terrible disease.
